Yesterday, we did the chemistry, mold, and endoscopy challenges.

We were able to replicate the Nassau reaction and we even got it to turn yellow afterwards! We're the best!

In the endoscopy challenge, we got to perform a "virtual" colonoscopy and study zebrafish. Afterwards, we made a kid-friendly video.

The mold activity was interesting. We looked at mold under a microscope and collected samples from the lab.

We're about to start the lab-tech relay. After that, we have the avian flu and obesity challenges.

The purple team is the best, and we're going to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kushal: Today we did challenges on avian flu and mold! the avian flu one was great; i was a virologist and garrett was a traitor <_< Taylor and Jayne have
been playing weird games all day. the mold challenge was really cool too, because we got to examine mold under a microscope and collect samples and you know EVERYONE wants to do that for a living. the avian flu one was great because
we simulated what would happen if avian flu came to the US and i wore a cool suit :) Sophie just ate the grossest banana lifesaver and i've written too much

Garrett: Hi everyone! the second day of challenges was great! we hope to keep you updated on the challenges <(*^-^*)> today we did three challenges we have only did 2 so far those were the avian flu and a mold challenge. now we are on

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd day of the exciting challenges and we just had a blast. Kinda had a melt down on the first one but then we got back together!

The first challenge we had was Lab tech relay! Fun~ but challenging. Kinda had trouble! Oh well we did the best we could do during that time and thats what counts!

Then We had Break for like ever......

Talked with JUDGE JAKE!! He gave us all a 2 dollar bill!!

Then we had lunch.............
Then we had challenge 2, Avian Flu! Shipi and Nick were the docs! Amy was the mayor, Nolan was the epidemiologist, and Anthony was the virologist. YAY! We did good on this one!

Last and final challange was mold. Pretty good too! Not exactly sure how it went cause It went kinda slow. Some of us were kinda drowsy but oh well!

We got back and then had something again not sure what!

Well gotta go for now!
