Hey! This is team GREY! We're holler'n at you from D.C at the Westin Grand Hotel. We've had a blast and we just finished presenting our super cool science projects today at the Smithsonian Museum. We all think we did really well but...(that’s for the judges to decide!) What we did was 20% of our score! That’s alot!!

Yall need ta know we've got skittles especially with particulate matter, arsenic stuff, beeturia, projectiles, algae! We know all the teams are great and smart and they've got skittles too, but we got the most skittles, and even more than you!

OMG! We also came up with a super cool chant today!!! It's *Team Grey is the way! Team Grey all the way!!!* We think it rules.

The judges?? Well they were pretty cool! Umm, some of em were kinda tough but we managed.

We just met one of the coolest people on earth today and yesterday! He's JUDGE JAKE!! AKA "the wizard". We had a "Rootbeer session” with him where we drank root beer and talked with him!

Since we're "special" ~wink wink~ we got to go on a really cool bBehind the scenes” tour of Smithsonian!

Did you know the hummingbird bee is the smallest bird in the world?? And their eggs look like tic-tacs?? I bet you din't!

So far we have been having a blast but the week’s just beginning! We all know that TEAM GREY IS ALL THE WAY and will make it to the top!

We also met some really cool people! All the 40 finalists are awesome!

We are all psyched about tomorrow’s events! THE CHALLENGES!!! Well we know that we're prepared! Ummm...our secret weapon: Anthony!

Today we just finished the judging process for our projects that we did last year. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! We did really well, but Lindsey and Manpreet's feet REALLY hurt after standing in shoes with HUGE heels for 6 whole hours. That was painful, they say. We got to see the orthopology and entomology departments. The dead baby owl looked really sad and 1/2 its feathers were plucked out. The insects were awesome! We saw colorful butterflies (beautiful! just mind-boggling!) and cool beetles. It gave me "quite a scare". Our guide was the expert entomologist was the awesome, let's give it up for GARYYYYY!!!!!!!! I like his beard:) The dinner included fried chicken and hamburgers in a formal dining room with candles and nicely folded napkins. We sang Happy Birthday for 2 people and made ponytails in their hairs (They were boys :)) We had a team building excersise and we were with Patrick. He was the chosen one. The Wa Master, super awesome ninja, and soccer coach!!! WAAAAAAA!!!!!! :)
