The Music Room : 1962

• May 27, 1962 : Bob Dylan releases his album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan which contains some classic Dylan tunes such as "Blowin' in the Wind".

• The top singles in 1962 included Sherry by the Four Seasons and Telstar by the Tornados.

• The Grammy Award for best record in 1962 went to Tony Bennett for I Left My Heart in San Francisco.
