: Make Your Own Home Page

Purpose :
Students will utilize the elements
of a good home page in designing one on a topic of their choice.
Materials :
overhead; elements transparency;
worksheet transparency; crayons; markers
Lesson :
1. Librarian will remind the students
of the elements of a good home page and show the overhead transparency
of the list.
2. The students will be given a blank
home page (copy on the overhead) and asked to design a home page
on a topic of their choice. Remind them that they are the "experts"
on their topic. (20 minutes)
3. Students will share home page
with the class.
Summary :
Ticket to leave : "I think the most important element of a Web page is __________________."
