This book explains what the invisible Web is, how to search and find information "hidden" away, and provides lists of sources to use to troll this vast information source.

A fact-filled book dealing with the gray areas of copyright for schools and libraries. Many forms and practical examples are included.

Spitzer, Kathy, et.al. Information Literacy: Essential Skills for the
Information Age.

A well-done overview and compilation of the information literacy skills needed to succeed. As in the first edition, the authors examine current content standards and provide a huge bibliography.

This book provides a guide for the skills that students need to have to become information consumers. Many graphic organizers for research strategies and presentations for parents are included.

This well-thought out book examines the role of technology in the classroom today and in the future. It provides practical ideas for the successful integration of technology into the curriculum to make it meaningful for the students.

Warlick, David. Redefining Literacy for the 21st Century.

This book explains the author's new definition of literacy and provides ideas and practical applications to seamslessly infuse technology into an expanded view of reading, writing, and mathematics. The book also has an accompanying Web site.
