The Bottom Line
Best for real A Bug's Life fans, but generally lacking the extra "oomph" that makes console games long-term favorites.

Product Overview
At first very impressive, A Bug's Life is a fully 3D platform game based on the Disney movie. Unfortunately, gameplay is not as fun or addictive as most games of this genre. The graphics are quite nice, and scenes from the movie are included.

For younger children, this game can be very difficult at times, and getting free lives a seemingly impossible task. Some kids may enjoy trying to work through the early levels.

Truth of the matter is, my son played it for awhile but he doesn't really have a huge desire to go back to it. He prefers his Crash Bandicoot titles, all 3 of which I think will have more long-term appeal to most kids.
