Once Upon a Time Vol. 1 & 2: PigMania & GoldiRocks Product Overview
With a new take on classic stories, the first 2 volumes in the new Once Upon a Tune Series CDs have been launched: PigMania and GoldiRocks. Both titles feature Juno-award winning children's entertainers Judy & David who tell stories we have all heard in an entirely newfangled way!

Volume 1 in the series, PigMania, re-tells the classic story "The Three Little Pigs" through a humorous story line, singable songs, and hilarious characters. The story's simple message that wisdom and good planning always pay off is carried forward to this modern and rather wacky version. Kids listen as Mamma Pig tells her 3 little "darlings" that it is time to make it on their own. Frankfurter, Brainella, and Woody set off, but while Brainella talks of building a secure house before winter comes, Woody and Frankie have other things in mind like eating up a storm (which prompts the song "Eatin' Like a Pig") and partying. The songs are fun with a mix of rock, pop, and ballads.

Judy & David tell the story of GoldiRocks who is a little, shall we say, obsessed with her electric guitar. When neighbors start complaining about all the noise, Goldi's mother threatens to take her guitar away for a day. Angry and confused, Goldi runs away to the forest in quite a state. There she finds the house of the three bears. From the frustrated song "Temper Tantrum" in which Goldi proclaims that "life is no fair!", to "Porridge" in which kids learn that "you never know until you try", musical interludes are fun and expressive, with a wide range of modern styles kids will love. Characters are fun, and humor can be found no matter what your age, child to adult. The operatic owl, for example, is proud of his "bird brain".

Each title runs for approximately 40 minutes.

These enhanced CDs play in an audio CD player, but you can also pop them into your computer for some extra fun, providing your system meets the minimum requirements. Song lyrics, printable coloring pages, and a jigsaw puzzle are featured, as well as a special Judy & David music video.

Dollar Value
Retail price for each enhanced CD is approximately $16 US.
