Product Overview
Baby Time series This unique music series combines comforting instrumentals and familiar sounds to create a warm mood for babies and young children. Three different titles in the series match important times in a young child's day:

Play Time is designed for times of day when children are wide awake and interacting with toys, other children, or their parents. The mood is lighthearted but very peaceful. Woodwind, guitar, and harp create busy, playful music, and natural sounds of children playing and laughing and birds chirping are scattered throughout the recording. This recording is stimulating but never jarring.

Quiet Time provides just the right mood for times when children need to wind down. Cranky or overstimulated babies will no doubt respond to the slower rhythms on this recording, as well as natural sounds like babies murmuring and gurgling. Tracks entitled Simple Joys, Dreams, and Pretty Horses create a peaceful and calming atmosphere and help provide musical cues for babies to settle down.

Sleep Time combines soothing music with natural sounds such as a mother's rhythmic heartbeat as well as gentle nature sounds like ocean waves. Tracks such as River of Life, Dreamtime, and Mother's Heart help comfort young ones, and soothe children to sleep. This title could easily become a staple in a family's bedtime routine.

Parents should enjoy the CDs as well, unless they are averse to soundscapes-style recordings. Even the more stimulating Play Time CD is really quite tender and relaxing. None of the three titles contain abrupt stops or starts to overstimulate children.

Dollar Value
These recordings are comparatively inexpensive — audio CDs retail for $9.98 US, and cassette versions are $6.98 US each.
