Riddle 2: The Pharos of Alexandria
For more than a thousand years the lighthouse known as the Pharos of Alexandria burned a huge bonfire that helped safely guide ships into the harbor. At the base of the lighthouse was a fortress with over 300 rooms. Not only was the Pharos a lighthouse but it also served as a base for Egyptian soldiers.
At its very peak, the Pharos stood more than 400 feet high. Estimate how high the lighthouse would be in meters.
