Title: FREE TEACHER TOOLS ON THE WEB

Purpose
The Internet offers a lot of tools for the English teachers and many of them for free. In this workshop we will explore some specific sites where we can easily design activities and exercises such us quizzes, tests, or puzzles and either leave them on the web or use them off line. We will carry out some designing online.
Objective
1. To reflect upon the the possibilities of using computers in the English classroom.
2. To get to know how to use some of these authoring tools.
Materials
- Printed handout where you will find a classification of Web-based authoring tools
Procedures
- Click on the link on this lesson plan.
- Have a look at the examples.
- Finally, visit some of the sites and create your own quizzes and activities.
Don't forget to save them in a floppy disc
