> Sea Change
Water heats up and cools down more slowly than air. Why? By volume water can hold more heat than air. In this activity, you will conduct an experiment to see different rates of change in water and air temperatures.
> Drink Up!
Creating a desalination still is a great way for students to learn about the water cycle and how it can be used to turn salty water into freshwater. In this activity, students create and observe a simple still. Then they are challenged to design one that works more efficiently.
