Change each of the following words to a different
word by replacing the letter indicated by TWO letters.
The two new letters have be consecutive — that
is, they have to come right after one another in
the alphabet, such as the letters AB, or BC. For
example, you can change CAR to DEAR by replacing
the C with the letters DE.
TILE (replace the I)
TINT (replace the N)
HAMPER (replace the P)
COUPE (replace the P)
CHOOSE (replace the H)
COLD (replace the O)
TABLE
TIGHT
HAMSTER
COURSE
CABOOSE
CHILD
STRATEGY: Write down the letters of the alphabet
in a row. Then write the whole alphabet in a second
row right under the first but start the second row
with the letter B. That way you can see all the
consecutive letter combinations you have to choose
from — AB, BC, CD, DE, and so on:
