A The bag can hold 40 pennies, eight nickels, and two dimes for a total of 50 coins adding up to $1.00 ($.40 + $.40 + $.20) or 45 pennies, 2 nickels, 2 dimes, and 1 quarter ($.45 + $.10 + $.20 + $.25 = $1.00)
